Update on life with us

This will be a no-picture blog...sorry. We just haven't had any time to take pictures because of how crazy things have been lately. I told you I was going to update you on our work-out routine...I have successfully completed week one of our new routine. I did cardio and weightlifting everyday. I'm pretty proud of myself. Addison started today since he was so busy last week at the bookstore. Swimsuit bodies, here we come! Add is finally pretty much done with the craziness at the bookstore. He will return to normal hours this week instead of working, oh like 12 hours everyday, and going to school and trying to find time with his wife. God is always with us during those crazy times though. This weekend we had Travis, my brother come stay with us. It was good to see him in our neck of the woods. He got to see our apartment and a little bit of College Station while he was here. Other than that we went to our class again at Central Baptist (Young Married class) and met a super nice couple that is actually within our age range. It was so nice to finally connect with another married girl that is in college and my age! Addison and I were very encouraged by meeting them and can't wait to see them again.

That's about all that is going on right now...now its back to schoolwork! We hope you have a blessed week!

A New Routine

School starts in a day and a half and even though I'm not excited about the school part I'm ready to be back into a routine. Add and I are going to make a new work-out routine (I'll let you know how it goes), trying to get involved in the right church for us, and finding the time to spend with eachother. This past week we went to see Dallas, Ashlee and sweet Annalee for a couple of days. It was very relaxing holding a baby for 2 days. Add thought it would make my baby fever go away but it made it worse because Annalee is such a good baby! I miss her already. When we got back on Friday I got to work on cleaning out our closet because it looked like this..

A whole rack of clothes fell down and since we live in an apartment the maintenance people  have to come fix it. For a week we waited, and waited, and waited and they finally came as we were trying to leave for Katy a few days before so we just left everything a mess. In the end it was actually a good thing. I cleaned out every little corner and it is nice and neat now. It's amazing how we've only lived in this apartment for a little over 5 months but can get disorganized so fast. Speaking of 5 months, Add and I went to a Young Married Sunday School class at Central Baptist today and while we were meeting people they would ask us how long we've been married and Add would tell them about 6 months. Isn't that insane?! It has gone by so fast. I love being married to my best friend. He is the best guy I know and I am so lucky to be married to him. After our Sunday school we went to Grace Bible Church to visit their worship service and we actually really liked it. It might end up being that we go to two different church's every Sunday which is fine with me.

I'll let you know how our first week back to school goes! Hope you have a blessed week.

Lately

A little behind on my blogging as usual...time just flies by! Addison and I had an awesome Christmas break. It was so much fun and definitely not as stressful as everyone made it seem like it was going to be, being that it was our first Christmas being married. I went to Abilene a little earlier than Addison because he was going to be working a lot and I was just going to be sitting at home. I will never go home early again. I don't know why but we just didn't feel like it was a big deal at the time to be apart for a little bit. It was great getting to spend a little extra time with my family and help my mom with some last minute shopping things but I missed Addison terribly! Anyways, once he finally got to Abilene we started the shuffle from my parents house to his. It was so fun being there with all of his family. There is always something going on! It was an even more exciting time with Annalee getting to be there for her first Christmas. Here's a few pictures that I got of her while we were there...

I think being around both mine and Addison's family and always doing something made it a little easier to get through the holiday's without my Grandmama. She was missed so much and thought about a lot during my time at home. I still can't grasp the concept that she is actually gone and I don't think I ever will. One thing that is really amazing though, is that we still have her dad, my Great-Great Grandfather, PawPaw. He is 94 years and such a sweetheart.

We had a busy Christmas day going from Addison's house to my house to my MawMaw's house and back to Addison's house. It was nothing short of crazy but we loved it.

We also went to the ranch after Christmas as we usually do to relax and wind down. There wasn't very much good hunting but it was still fun being around family. We definitely didn't want to leave Abilene at all. It was a little weird coming back to College Station before everyone else but Add and I have gotten to spend a lot of time together, go on a few dates and watch lots of movies. Unfortunately, school starts a week from today. However, the good news is that it's my last Spring semester to be enrolled in classes and Addison's last semester in college! Where did the time go?

Anyways, tomorrow we will be going to Katy for a few days to see how much sweet Annalee has grown and to spoil her a little bit.  Our last little getaway before school starts. I can't wait! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
